"Glou Glou" Carignan from Kenny Likitprakong over at Hobo Wines! 85% carbonic Carginan from Mendocino's Redwood Valley with 15% direct press Viognier from Solano County. Just bottled at the end of last year (12/7/20) and total SO2 sits right around 25ppm; very low. There's a purity to the fruit quality that really stands out. Muddled cherry, blueberry, lavender, crushed violets, and a finish that leans fairly savory. At around 12% ABV the Viognier adds a textural plushness/layered quality that gives the wine a sense of expansion.
