Policies for Shipping

We ship via FedEx to:

All Products: CA, NE, NH, NY, AK, RI, DC, WV, FL, AZ, CT, LA, NM, ND, OR, VA, WY, GA, IL, WI, MD, MA

We cannot ship to any states not listed above. 

We do our best to ship all orders within 3 business days. We are open 7 days a week, however FedEx does not pick up on weekends, so shipment will always fall on the next business day.

We reserve the right to cancel orders we may deem fraudulent. To prevent this, please enter your card details on our purchase page rather than using a 3rd party payment method such as Apple or Google pay. Make sure your zip code and name are correct

Shipping Disclaimers

We do our best to ensure products are properly wrapped in protective bubble wrap and that the box is secured before shipment.

Fun Fact. Fedex conveyor belts go up to 5mph.

Fedex shipments are not temperature controlled. Shipping natural wine always comes with a risk that the wine may referment due to increased temperatures, or undergo "bottle-shock" from rapid changes in environment. Always allow time for your wine to rest in a neutral, dark environment before enjoying.

We've been doing this for some time and want to make sure you receive your products in the same condition that we shipped them in. So you may find quite a bit of bubble wrap inside. We encourage you to reuse or recycle.

All packages must be accepted and signed by an adult at least 21 years of age.

You, the buyer, are solely responsible for the shipment of alcohol and responsible for any loss or damage to goods once they have left our premises. By placing an order on this site, you authorize Franklin Wine and Spirit to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to you and recognize that Franklin Wines and Spirits is not liable for the condition of your package upon delivery. If your package is damaged in transit, we are happy to assist you in contacting FedEx for reimbursement; however, the responsibility for this reimbursement lies is that of the carrier (FedEx).

We do not recommend shipping wine orders during the warmest and coldest months of the year, as extreme temperatures can be damaging. We are happy to hold or send your shipments throughout those periods, but it is your responsibility to indicate your preference in the "order comments" section at checkout or contact us with detailed instructions. If no instructions are provided, we will ship your package immediately. There are summer and winter months during which we will engage automatic shipping holds due to extreme temperatures, in which case we will contact you after your order is placed.

The carrier (currently FedEx) will contact you the day your order is shipped with your tracking details, shipping date, and anticipated delivery date.

Shipping orders may take up to 48 hours from the time they are placed to be processed and ready for shipping. Please take this window into account, including for Express and Overnight shipping speeds. All “Ground Shipping” orders placed after 12pm on Wednesdays will be shipped on Monday the following week, to avoid being held in FedEx facilities over the weekend where storage conditions may not be ideal

Policies for Pick-Up Orders

Any orders placed for Pickup must be kept in our store. We do not own a warehouse, or any other storage facility. As a result, there is limited space. We are not a private wine cellar, though we do our best to keep all wines in temperature controlled environment, we cannot be held responsible for aging your wines.
  • Any wines held beyond a month we cannot be responsible for corkage or any faults that may be due to improper storage of wine.
  • For refunds on products held for more than 3 months we charge a 10% restocking fee. 
  • Before 3 months we will contact you to arrange a pickup. If we do not hear back from you within a month you will forfeit your purchase, the product will be restocked, and you will be refunded minus an additional 10% restocking fee.

Return Policies

Free returns in store within 7 days. 
10% restocking fee after 7 days.
Free returns on defective products within 7 days once we have determined it is eligible.

For shipping orders we will provide you a shipping label for returns of defective products, and refunds will be processed once items are restocked.
We do not offer returns, exchanges or credit for items damaged in shipping.
